SwitiRohSays : Love Baguio, Love Azalea Residences

SwitiRohSays : Love Baguio, Love Azalea Residences

Celebrated Mother’s day at home but every mom needs a day off! Last May 12th, I was able to go back to Baguio. Most of the time I am with my family, but this is the very first time I traveled with friends. Thought to myself: for a busy home-based mom like me, I needed a break. A time just for me… it’s not that I love my family less but sometimes we need to be alone or with friends too. I love my family that is why before I went to Baguio, I prepared dishes that I could just put on the fridge and my husband can re-heat for lunch and dinner. And this is it! Travelling with friends! Baguio here I come!

I already knew that our group will be staying at Azalea Residences. But what makes Azalea Residences different from any other hotel or transient houses in Baguio? What this hotel has to offer for their guests? Am I going to be comfortable with my 3 days and 2 nights stay? How about the food? All questions left unanswered until we reached the hotel at 8am.

The hotel fa├žade amazed me. The staff welcomed us courteously as they help us unload our bags on our van. Since I and the rest of the gang were very hungry with our almost 5-hour travel from Manila, the staff led us to TRADISYON, the hotel’s restaurant. You can take a look at the yummy breakfast choices they have and tell me how you cannot resist from eating! Here at Azalea Residences, everyday is a feast indeed!

Sharing you the pictures of the beautiful hotel facade that amazed me.

And here are some of the food choices they offer for their guests like me

And these tempting desserts..."Watcha gonna do with that dessert?"

Now, Isn't it obvious that i love food? That was just some of the food we tasted on our 3 days stay at Azalea Residence...
After having our sumptuous breakfast, we went up to our room. Our room was huge and cozy. We have our own kitchen and dining area. Complete with modern day comforts like Electric cook tops with range hood, Microwave oven, Refrigerator, Electric Water Kettle and Rice Cooker that we can use for light cooking. As a mommy, this is a home away from home! Azalea gave me the feeling that I didn’t leave my house because of that homey feel that they really want their guests to experience. You too can choose a room type that is suitable for your family, friends or if you like that romantic ambiance with your loved ones.

A great view from the room...

Soooooo sweet! We have complimentary fruits and flowers!

I love Azalea Residences Bath Essentials too!

Best of all, kids can play too at their play area!

What to do in Baguio? The Mansion, just across is the Wright Park, or go to Mines View Park and Good Shepherd’s Convent nearby where you can buy Ube Jam (Purple Yam) and other “pasalubong.” Strawberry Farm in La Trinidad Benguet, the famous BenCab Museum, Tam-Awan Village (Heritage village). Brave enough to check out the Laperal House? It is a well known haunted house in Baguio. Check out the video and pictures that I took from the said haunted house and feel free to comment your experiences. Love adventure? They will take you to TreeTop Adventure at Camp John Hay, where you can experience the extreme activities. You can approach the hotel staff and they will suggest good places where you and your family can enjoy. They have packages too for a fun-filled activity while staying in Baguio.

And here are some famous food and Baguio products that you shouldn't miss...

Strawberry Ice Cream at 20 pesos

After a very looooong and tiring day with our tour at Baguio City... It's good that Baguio had a place that I can call my home away from home, where I can relax and still do my homebased job. I will definitely go back with my family. Thank you so much Azalea Residences for a memorable vacation.
