My Beef Asparagus

This recipe that I am going to teach you is sooooo simple. This is BEEF ASPARAGUS. A recipe made from beef and the very healthy asparagus. Asparagus is rich in vitamins. Together with oyster sauce which is rich in iodine. Now here are the ingredients and procedures.

Beef (thinly sliced - would prefer breakfast steak)
Bell pepper (sliced)
3 pcs calamansi
Soy sauce
Crushed black pepper
1 whole white onion (or violet)
3 tbsp butter
1 bottle of Oyster Sauce (any brand will do)

Pound the beef and cut into strips (about 1-2inches wide) so that it would be easier to cook. Add calamansi juice from the 3 pcs calamansi. Then add soysauce (just enough to cover half of the beef), season with ground black pepper. Mix it altogether and set aside. Cut the bellpepper into strips, and cut the asparagus into half. After 15-30 minutes we are ready to prepare the beef.

Grab a beef, put sliced bellpeper and asparagus at the middle of each beef strips. Roll the beef so that the vegetables will be secured. To secure it tightly, I recommend to use toothpicks (so that you will not have a hard time cooking it later). Do it for the rest of the beef strips. Set aside.


In a shallow pan, put small amount of oil, 3 tbsp butter. Saute minced white onion and garlic. Carefully drop each of the prepared beef. Let it simmer, both sides cooked. When meet is tender (about 5-10 minutes), pour one bottle of oyster sauce. Let it simmer for a while and add a bit of salt and pepper to taste.

 To plate your dish. Simply take off the toothpick in each beef rolls. and pour the sauce. There you have it, the simple BEEF ASPARAGUS. Serve it as a cocktail dish or have it as viand. So yummy! Try it now!
