Food Review: Mati's Meat & Bread

Found an affordable prime steak in Filinvest, Alabang. There is a restaurant which cater towards yuppies, millennials and families . It opened in October 2014. I am talking about Mati's Meat and Bread. It is located at the new extension of Festival Mall which has a stunning view of the River Park. The Restaurant's wall are made up of clear glass which give its diners a view of lush green landscape.

Steaks are the specialty of Mati's Meat and Bread, They have different kinds of steaks to choose from, Burgers to Salpicao. They offer a Certified Angus Ribeye steak, nice thing to experience about it is, it can be "cooked table side" so that you can control the doneness of it (whether you wanted it well done, or medium rare) or their USDA steak which is the best seller.

Mati's Meat and Bread is a perfect place to kick back and relax with a nice meal and premium dishes and steaks at affordable prices.

Aside from their Steak, another favorite is the "Balut Aligue". Balut or developing duck embryo is deshelled and served in a buttery Aligue sauce served on a hot pan. On their menu, you will see lots of food choices. Their recipes are unique and will make you feel amazed on how they come up with those delicious food. Let me just show you the food that I've tasted and devoured.

Pizza, Pizza, and more Pizza!!! I like their thin, flaky crust which makes it more yummy! Their idea of having chili flakes right beside each pizza that you will order is really awesome.

For those who want really healthy food, they have veggie salads! There is Camille's Spinach & Arugula Bean salad (tossed in sweet chili vinaigrette), Vince's Chicken Arugula salad (with balsamic vinaigrette reduction), Jg's Ceasar salad (with crispy pork belly) and Classic Ceasar salad.

Ready for Pasta and Tacos??? Here are my picks. Seafood pasta and Truffle pasta. For their Tacos, here are their bestsellers: Chorizo with potato hash and cream cheese, Crispy pork belly with Kimchi and Nori cream cheese spread.

Mati's Meat and Bread is owned by Paul and Caron Macasaet. It is named after their son Mateo. The restaurant is a subsidiary of the well known Melo's Steakhouse who pioneered Certified Angus Beef in the Philippines.

Mati's Meat and Bread is set to open another branch in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig before the end of 2015.
